EXPLORING LIBRARY SERVICE IN VIETNAM
presented by Kenneth Schlesinger
Tuesday, November 14, 2006
1:00 - 2:00 PM
LaGuardia Community College
Room E-255
As a Fulbright Senior Specialist, Kenneth Schlesinger traveled to
Vietnam for six weeks this fall to consult with three academic libraries
on strategic planning and international copyright law. Come see photo
documentation of these institutions and hear his findings - shocking
but true - about the current state of Vietnamese libraries. He will also
make future recommendations as these libraries adapt to the Western open access service model.
