Issues and Roadmaps

The evolution of higher education from the teaching paradigm of the past to the learning paradigm of the present calls for a redefinition of the role and duties of the academic library. What does the concept of the teaching library portend? How can libraries become participants, as well as partners, in the creation of new learning experiences and results? What partnerships will be needed? What support structures will be indispensable for success? These and related questions and issues are the focus of this year's Institute.
